Bepulin Belitong is a local fashion brand from Belitung Island that was founded in February 2019, showcasing hand-drawn batik using natural dyes as a fusion of natural resources, culture, and local wisdom. Using natural dyes derived from leaves, wood, bark, roots, and various local plants, each piece features natural, warm, and unique color tones. The motifs are inspired by Belitung’s rich and distinctive flora, such as the simpor flower, kantong semar, pelawan leaves, and coffee, and are handcrafted in collaboration with local artisans as part of the brand’s commitment to preserving culture while offering high-quality, sustainable fashion products that embody Belitung’s unique identity.
